The Principals
Dick Lowry has over 25 years of industry knowledge, and
has performed the private sale of Commercial & Industrial assets
for secured creditors and Trustees. He has managed appraisals/auctions
foreclosure and has been project manager of sealed bid & other
types of sales. He has also been a consultant for secured creditors
banks, Trustees, attorneys and various governmental agencies in
the commercial sales of debtor-in-possession, and secured parties.
He has qualified as an expert witness in the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts.
Mr Lowry is an
SBA, FDIC, & RTC approved appraiser and Liquidator, and has
performed appraisals in 34 states and Puerto Rico.
Carl Miceli has 35 years experience in used industrial sales
and appraisals. His appraisal and liquidation experience includes
marine equipment, cement plants, sugar refineries, food and chemical plants, metal
fabrication shops, machine shops, textile mills, construction equipment,
trucks, restaurants, grocery stores, medical offices, hospitals
and dotcoms. Mr. Miceli appraised over 200 Savings and Loans for
the Resolution Trust Corporation and successfully auctioned the
last and one of the largest S & L's for the RTC. He is considered
an expert in the Personal Property Tax appraisal field.
Mr. Miceli is an Accredited Senior Appraiser, (ASA) with the American
Society of Appraisers, a Certified Senior Appraiser (CSA) with the
Equipment Appraisers Association of North America, a certified
equipment appraiser (CES) with the Association of Machinery and
Equipment Appraisers and the President
of American Society of Appraisers, Maryland Chapter. He has been
accepted as an expert with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Baltimore,
MD.
Staff
Kimberly Galandak,
is a graduate of the Missouri Auction School and a Graduate Personal
Property Appraiser (GPPA).
Ms. Galandak's responsibilities
include: Leadership in the planning, coordination and
implementation of auction sales. Specialist at marketing
strategies and the evaluation of personal property assets.
Monitors the auction process from initial contract execution through
closing of the auction. Coordinates schedules and auctions,
ordering of supplies, services and equipment and tracks progress for
optimal disposition of assets. Maintains excellent working
rapport with project management, financial, legal and marketing
executives to assure an orderly and efficient chain of events
throughout the auction process.
Katheryn Hughes is
a licensed real estate salesperson and a licensed real estate
appraiser trainee.
Ms. Hughes entered the real estate
world in 2003. Her business background includes management
positions in emergency medicine, medical billing, human resources
and marketing. She performs the research necessary to evaluate
the comparable properties and determine property values. This
information is used to negotiate listing agreements and to determine
reserve prices for real estate auctions. Ms. Hughes also
assists with personal property appraisals and other administrative
tasks.
Amy Goodell is
a Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) with an interest in
antiques and collectibles.
Mrs. Goodell brings over 15 years
of experience in antiques and collectables to the AAI team.
Her professional background includes extensive work in sales in the
retail market, antique and estate auctions, and consulting with
local residents on the liquidation of such items. Her
particular area of interest is in the field of costume jewelry.
With AAI, she has been expanding her expertise to the appraisal of
medical equipment and other related assets.
